Bev Hughes MP and Kate Green will be hosting a Fairtrade Coffee Morning at 11.30am on Friday 5th March 2010 at the Morris Hall, Altkinson Road, Urmston.

Trafford now a Fairtrade Borough

It was officially announced today (22 Feb 2010) that Trafford has been recognised as a Fairtrade Borough.

This is due to the work of the steering group of volunteers who have promote Fairtrade at events over the past years, the support of local businesses, faith groups and other organisations, and local schools who have Fairtrade School status.

Fairtrade Stall at Altrincham Market

Altrincham and Sale Fairtrade Group had a Fairtrade stall at the special Valentine's market held at Altrincham Market on Saturday 13th February 2010.

St. Matthew's "BIG BREW"

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight 2010, the Stretford Fairtrade Group are holding a "BIG BREW" event on Saturday 6th March from 10.30am to 1.00pm at St. Matthews Church Hall, Chapel Lane, Stretford.

Fairtrade tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice and cakes will be served.

Fairtrade stall, children's "Decorate a Teapot" competition, raffle and Fairtrade goods to buy.

Fairtrade Market Stall

Trafford Fairtrade Groups have been invited to have a stall to promote Fairtrade on Altrincham Market on Saturday 13th February 2010. The event will start at about 10am and finish at 2pm.

Fairtrade Fortnight in Timperley

Members of Altrincham and Sale Co-operative Members Group will be organising at Fairtrade stall at Timperley Co-op Food Store, 244 Stockport Rd., Timperley, WA15 7UN on Friday 26th February 2010 from 11am to 1pm.

Any visitors will be welcomed and if you can help for an hour, so much the better!
